Everybody In! Walk/Move for Perkins

Travel through the historic, picturesque Perkins campus, alongside the Charles River and through Watertown’s Braille Trail in support of disability inclusion. At the finish line, enjoy a festival of activities like historical campus tours, children’s’ activities, musical performances, and more.

Grab your racket and clubs and join us at the Charles River Country Club, one of New England’s finest golf courses, and help us unlock opportunities for children with complex, multiple disabilities.

Educational events

Each year, Perkins Schools for the Blind is the host of up to two educational conferences with promotional opportunities. Explore the events and contact us to tailor a custom sponsorship package of one or many events for your business or yourself.

Our 2024 CVI Conference: Building Meaningful Recognition will bring together medical professionals, educators, and families living with CVI (Cortical/Cerebral Visual Impairment) for our biannual conference. The conference offers a learning opportunity about this brain-based visual impairment, which is the most common cause of visual impairment in children.

Each spring, the Early Connections Conference brings together families of children age 7 and under who are blind, deafblind, or low-vision —including those who have multiple complex disabilities — to engage with each other, as well as leading professionals in the field.
