Associate Director of Admissions & Evaluations
Susan joined Perkins in 2017, bringing over fifteen years of experience in the special education field. She holds her Masters in Elementary Education, License in Severe Special Education, and Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis. Having worked in a residential special education school, various public schools, and as a private tutor for students with Executive Function issues, Susan continues to draw from her perspective of working closely with students and families as she casemanages Perkins’ DeafBlind admissions and evaluations process, as well as Perkins’ outside Cortical/ Cerebral Vision Impairment (CVI) evaluation services. Her favorite part of Perkins is meeting new families and then seeing them become a part of the Perkins community.
