Supriya Das connects with educators, parents and other professionals across India, providing them with the latest MDVI research and educational strategies. Das works in the field to evaluate programs and conduct trainings. She maintains web access to educational resources for community use, making sure content is translated into Hindi. A 2015 graduate of Perkins International’s Educational Leadership Program, Das also serves as a consultant, supporting efforts in India to achieve inclusion for children with visual impairment in mainstream schools. Das has previously worked as a research associate and program coordinator. She was recognized for her contribution for working with a diverse team in developing affordable assistive technology devices for people with visual impairment and deafblindness. Currently pursuing a doctorate in special education from Amity University, Das holds a master’s degree in special education from IGNOU University and a bachelor’s degree in special education from Delhi University.
