Nathalie de Wit

Nathalie de Wit is currently a doctoral student in Special Education/Vision PhD Program at the University of Pittsburgh. Her dissertation will focus on educating students in the sensorimotor phase of development. Nathalie is a mentor teacher and has been the Lead Teacher in the Early Learning Center/Lower School at Perkins School for the Blind for more than 12 years. She has been an Assistive Technology Specialist and has taught in self-contained pre-school and elementary classrooms with students who are blind and have significant additional disabilities. Nathalie also taught in a special education middle school classroom at the Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind, School for the Blind.
