Michael Bertolami is a Board-Certified Music Therapist who holds a bachelor’s degree in professional music from Berklee College of Music, and a Masters Degree in Expressive Therapies with a music therapy specialization from Lesley University. For the last 20 plus years he has worked as a music therapist in the Lower School at Perkins School for the Blind in Watertown, Massachusetts with multi-impaired/visually impaired children. He maintains a private music therapy practice, providing home based and site based group and individual music therapy services to children and adults with a wide range of multiple impairments and disabilities and was also an adjunct faculty member in the music therapy program at Anna Maria College. He was also formerly employed as the Department Chairperson of the Music Therapy Program at Powers Music School in Belmont Massachusetts. He serves as a practicum and internship supervisor for undergraduate and graduate music therapy students from Anna Maria College, Berklee College of Music, and Lesley University.
