Maureen Lister

In 2025, Maureen Lister joined Perkins as the Chief Financial Officer, leading the Financial & Accounting Services Team and supporting the work of our finance, audit, and investment committees. She is excited to help Perkins develop financial strategies that support our vital and ambitious mission.

Maureen is an accomplished local executive who brings an ideal mix of financial expertise, operational experience, and mission-driven focus to Perkins. She has a 30-year track record of success driving organizational growth, managing complex budgets, and ensuring fiscal health in the nonprofit, healthcare, and corporate sectors.

Most recently, Maureen served as Executive Director of Family ACCESS in Newton, whose mission is to empower families and children through programs that nurture child development and promote parenting skills. Previously, Maureen served as CFO/COO for the ALS Therapy Development Institute, where she managed finance and operations to advance ALS research in partnership with the Muscular Dystrophy Association. As CFO at Endovia Medical, Maureen directed fiscal operations and fundraising activities, contributing to the company’s growth in medical technology to advance computer-assisted surgical devices. Earlier, she served as CFO/CAO of energy storage leader Beacon Power, including a successful Initial Public Offering (IPO).

Maureen earned her BS in Finance at Northeastern University and her MBA from DePaul University. She is a member of the Massachusetts Society of CPAs, AICPA-CIMA, the American Society of Notaries, the National Association of Corporate Treasurers, the FEI Boston Chapter, the National Association of State Treasurers, and the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM). She also served on the Board of the Disability Rights Fund in 2023.
