Laura Maloney

Laura Maloney, an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Coordinator at Perkins School for the Blind, has worked as a special education teacher in Maine and Massachusetts public and private schools for eight years. Laura has experience working with school-aged children of all grades, and she has a specific background working in primarily Behavioral and Social-Emotional focused classrooms in the kindergarten-to-7th-grade settings. In her role at Perkins, Laura works closely with IEP case managers and teams in the Secondary School and Lower School to ensure IEPs are collaborative and student focused, while also creating meaningful and measurable goals and objectives that support the student, family, and team vision.
