Product Manager at the CVI Center at Perkins
Kaitlyn is the Product Manager at the CVI Center at Perkins School for the Blind, where she manages the development of several products, services, and resources around CVI. Kaitlyn collaborates with the rest of the CVI team to identify needs of the CVI community, design innovative outreach materials, and monitor the usability and effectiveness of the products that the team develops and launches. In this role, Kaitlyn plans to help propel the CVI Center’s mission of spreading awareness, leading outreach initiatives, and furthering CVI research.
Kaitlyn has spent her educational and professional career honing skills in product development, user experience research, data analysis, and design thinking. Her background spans across multiple industries, including education, medical device development, and public media. In each pursuit, the common thread is her drive to improve products by understanding the learning process and how it uniquely impacts individuals’ interactions with the world. Kaitlyn is thrilled to bring all of these interests together as Product Manager in the CVI Center at Perkins.
Kaitlyn holds an M.S. degree in Human Factors Engineering from Tufts University, as well as a B.A. in Child Development & Spanish from Tufts University.
