Digital Content and Social Media Manager at the CVI Center at Perkins

About

Jackie is the Digital Content and Design Strategist at the CVI Center at Perkins, where she identifies compelling stories and brings them to life through CVI Now, social media, and other digital avenues in order to strengthen the CVI Center’s ability to center CVI voices, spread CVI awareness, and make a tangible impact for people with CVI and their families.

Prior to joining Perkins, Jackie worked at Kel & Partners, the anti-agency agency for public relations & social media. During her nearly five-year span there, she managed social media clients, helped shape the company’s blog services offerings, and carved out a unique role as the company’s first Senior Content Manager. Her career has also spanned the music, event planning, and childcare industries, in which she has produced everything from a monthly musically-informed astrology column, to a 12-day design festival, to a full summer of activities for two pre-teens in Boston (the latter being the most challenging). Jackie holds a Bachelor’s in Journalism from Northeastern University, and is both excited and proud to be working with an incredible, compassionate team in service of people with visual impairments and Perkins’ mission.
