Frederic M. Clifford*

Fred is retired from a management career in the financial services sector, including a long stint at Kidder Peabody & Co. He owned Clifford Associates, where he was an investor and advisor to several early stage companies. Fred has been a Perkins Trustee since 1986 and served as chair of the Board from 2008 to 2014. He previously served as chair of Beth Israel Deaconess-Plymouth and Jordan Health Foundation, where he was also a board member. Fred is chairman, co-founder, and emeritus director of the Duxbury Bay Maritime School, an overseer of Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Partners HealthCare (now Mass General Brigham), and a director of the Pioneer Institute.
