About

Daniela Gissara is a global changemaker committed to building an equitable world for children with disabilities. At Perkins School for the Blind, her technical expertise mobilizes partnerships that transform education systems around the world. She is an expert educator and vision specialist with a Masters in International Development, and Specialization in Low Vision and a Teaching Degree in Visual Impairments. She is also a graduate of the Educational Leadership Program. Her work has been cited internationally as a gold standard for inclusive learning design. Daniela has presented on health and education advocacy to the United Nations and at global conferences in 10 countries.
