Bret Connor

Bret is the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at athenahealth, a cloud-based healthcare technology and services platform that has previously partnered with Perkins’ career readiness program. Prior to joining athenahealth in 2017, he served in executive leadership roles at VMware, Inc. and McKinsey & Company. In addition to serving as a Perkins Corporator since 2020, he has also been a longstanding volunteer for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. He received his B.A. in economics from the University of Chicago and his MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Harvard Business School.
