Betsy Connolly, M.Ed is a Deafblind Specialist for Perkins School for the Blind, Infant/Toddler Program. She is also the Lead Teacher for the Infant/Toddler Playgroup for students and families/caregivers. Betsy has dedicated her career supporting students with multiple disabilities and their families. She has had the pleasure of teaching early childhood special education in both a private school and in substantially separate classrooms. Betsy was also a Developmental Specialist in Early Intervention. Betsy believes in maintaining a positive, strengths-based approach when working with each student and family while also fostering relationships based on trust and understanding. Betsy is a lifelong learner who received her Master’s Degrees in Severe Special Education with a specialization in Deafblindness and in Educational Leadership from Boston College.
