Speech-Language Pathologist, Perkins School for the Blind

About

Amelia graduated from Northwestern University with a Masters in speech-language pathology. Amelia grew up outside of Chicago and began her career there, working in the areas of Early Intervention, private clinic, and Pre K-6th grade public school. Amelia then moved to Boston and began working as an SLP at Perkins School for the Blind. Here, Amelia works in the Early Learning Center (ages 3-6) and Lower School (6-14) programs with students who have multiple disabilities, one being a vision impairment and another being, among others, specific genetic conditions, cerebral palsy, autism, epilepsy, and developmental delay.
