Perkins School celebrates renovations of Hilton Building in Watertown

Dignitaries and students spoke about the value and impact of the new, accessible renovations to the 1970s era Hilton Building. Isaiah, a Deafblind Program student, stepped up to the microphone to give the students' perspective.

As construction continues, the Perkins School for the Blind last week celebrated the first part of a $4 million capital campaign to modernize and increase access across its Watertown campus.

On Jan. 9, Perkins staff and students joined for a ribbon-cutting ceremony in front of the brand-new entryway and elevator in the Hilton Building.
