Monthly Family Connection Calls
Learn while getting to know other NEC families by joining in on our monthly family connections calls! Calls are held over zoom and will occur from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on the third Wednesday of each month. Each call can be accessed via the zoom link below.

Week 1: Charting the Lifecourse

This session will be a discussion about the program “Charting the Lifecourse”, a
framework that was developed to help individuals with disabilities and families
at any age or stage of life think about what they need to know, and identify how
to find or develop supports.
Week 2: Home-Based Routines

A discussion about home-based routines and how they can be infused into daily routines and activities such as bathing and meal times.
Week 3: Early Braille Literacy

Early braille literacy and ways in which parents can encourage literacy for their child with deafblindness.
