As young adults with disabilities enter adulthood, there are many different housing models to consider, each funded differently and with a different set of supports. Your young adults are individuals with unique strengths and needs, and deciding where to live is a very personal decision. We encourage you to consider a growth mindset when exploring housing, be sure that service providers are in place to facilitate the transition, and choose a model that will help your adult child thrive.
