When Are You Yellow?

Accessible iBook created to explain the color concept yellow to students with visual impairments.

This book delves into the color YELLOW! Using bright colored images and sounds, the book describes Yellow as “Bright and Happy” and uses different identifiers that are yellow such as the sun, bananas, and even Minions! See more Books created by Dr. Gary Bishop’s students. This book, one in a color series, was created to explain the concept red to students with visual impairments.

Note: This Apple Book was created using the free app iBooks Author on an Apple computer. Note: iBooks Author app is no longer available; however the books created in the app can still be opened in Apple Books. Books can be viewed on either an Apple computer or iOS device.

Click on the attached file to open the When Are You Yellow book. You must have the free Apple Books app on your computer or iOS device to view a book. If using an Apple computer, the book will be physically located in your Download Folder (down arrow symbol located in the Tool bar at the top right). Selecting the story (When Are You Yellow) will open the book in Apple Books. If you are using an iPad, select the attached book. Then, select Open In Apple Books.
