When Are You Purple?

Accessible iBook was created to explain the color purple to students with visual impairments.

This book delves into the color PURPLE! Using bright colored images and sounds, the book describes Purple as “Royalty and Class” and uses different subjects that are purple such as grapes, eggplant, and wine! See more Books created by Dr. Gary Bishop’s students. This book is one in a color series to explain the color purple to students with visual impairments.

Note: This iBook was created using the free app iBooks Author on an Apple computer. Note: Apple Books app is no longer available; however, books created with this app can still be opend in Apple Books.  These books can be viewed on either an Apple computer or iOS device.

Click on the attached file to open the When Are You Purple iBook. You must have the free Apple Books app on your computer or iOS device to view the book.  If using an Apple computer, the book will be physically located in your Download Folder (down arrow symbol located in the Tool bar at the top right). Selecting the book story (When Are You Purple) will open the book in Apple Books.  If you are using an iPad, select the attached book. Then, select Open In Apple Books.
