Using VoiceOver Gestures and Key Commands on the Mac Video

Video that demonstrates basic VoiceOver gestures on the Mac's trackpad and basic navigational VoiceOver keyboard commands.

Dr. Denise Robinson demonstrates how to do basic VoiceOver gestures on the Mac’s trackpad and basic VoiceOver navigation key commands using the Mac’s keyboard.  Dr. Robinson goes through a variety of simple navigation commands, including arrow keys, rotor to move by landmarks, headings or links, and other basic commands.  These are the same VoiceOver gestures and keyboard commands that are used on iOS devices – enabling studens to transition smoothly from iOS devices to the Mac.  This video is a great introduction to using VoiceOver on the Mac – especially for users who are familiar with VoiceOver gestures and keyboard commands on the iPad or iPhone.
