STEAM Career Showcase for Students with Disabilities: 2024 Event

Want to spark an interest in STEAM fields? Join in person or livestream, or watch the recorded presentation!

Join us for the 11th annual STEAM Career Showcase for Students with Disabilities – a free event for learners in grades 6–12. Connect with role models with disabilities who have thriving careers in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM). Learn about their personal journeys and strategies for success. Gain practical knowledge that you can apply to your interests and future career paths.

Enjoy a keynote presentation by Kay McMillan, co-founder of Youth LEAD NC, breakout sessions with expert panelists and an opportunity fair.

Hosted by the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences

ASL interpretation and live captions will be provided for welcome, keynote presentation and breakout sessions. Keynote presentation will be available live via YouTube.
