Stanford has released the first peer-reviewed research on video conferencing platforms, frequently referred to as “Zoom Meetings”. The research is specifically about the impact of Zoom meetings and the fatigue that adults are feeling. While this research was based on adult professionals who are social distancing, the impact and suggestions may be beneficial for students and teachers who are using Zoom meetings for remote instruction.

Note: One astute TVI commented that she has two students that seem to benefit from doodling while trying to listen to audio content. These students have this listed as an IEP accommodation and the TVI stated that this research may help support this accommodation.
