Part 2 of Encouraging meaningful communication in children with MDVI

This webinar on early communications in children with MDVI will discuss preverbal behaviours in small children, and ways to notice the signs and facilitate

The quality of life of a child with MDVI depends on communication that is meaningful and accessible. This webinar series will provide information on strategies to encourage the development of meaningful communication for children with MDVI, strategies and activities for encouraging the use and development of effective communication skills beginning with early interactions with young children, through communication interactions as a part of routine activities and through the use of extracurricular activities.  This series will focus on using strategies and activities that are a part of the child’s daily life and discuss ways to use them as a means to facilitate the development of communication skills in children with MDVI.

Part 2 of this series is focused on early communications in children with MDVI. We will discuss preverbal behaviours in small children, and ways to notice the signs and facilitate communication.
