About the Booklet

Can my child learn to take care of himself?

I feel sometimes my child is trying to tell me something, but I am not very clear what she wants. What should I do?

These are common questions for parents of children with multiple disabilities and vision impairment (MDVI) who are seeking to understand their child.

With simple language in a question and answer format accompanied by practical illustrations, this booklet addresses these common questions – and more – that parents have about their child. The booklet may be utilized by parents directly, or used by educators and CBR workers to guide conversations with families.
