Layla’s Three Preschool Apps Video

Video demonstrating three accessible preschool apps used with a refreshable braille display.

In this video, TVI Rachel Heuston Harris demonstrates the three preschool apps that Layla was using in the Paths to Technology post, “Layla: 4 Year Old Learning VoiceOver and Braille“. These two videos were made using an iPad running iOS 8 and the APH 18 Refreshabraille.  The first app,  Exploring Braille with Madilyn and Ruff  is an accessible app created specifically to teach beginning braille reading and writing skills using an  iPad with a refreshable braille display. The second app, Sitting in a Tree app is an interactive preschool book app. The third app, Pages -when paired with the refeshable braille display – is used for simple reading, writing and listening activities for a beginning braille student.
