Isabel and her TVI, Chris Maniscalco, demonstrate a variety of iPad tasks as she completes a homework assignment using a Bluetooth keyboard and VoiceOver. Watch as Isabel explains each Bluetooth keyboard command – including how to work around the Google sign-in bug – as she completes the following tasks:
Use rotor to quickly find Mail in the dock. Activate Mail.
use Control+Up to find starting point (Mailboxes) and rotor down to list.
Find and open a specific email and Control+Down to other side.
Locate a link in the email and activate it.
Sign-in Google – log in using Quick nav.
Once Google Forms opens – go back to Home screen.
Isabel continues her demonstration – including how to avoid the automatic numbering bug:
Use the rotor to quickly find Word. Activate Word.
Use Control+Up to find starting point (Account Settings) and find New.
Activate New and use Containers to find and activate Blank Document.
Cycle back and forth from Google Forms to MS Word to complete answer sheet.
Finally, Isabel demonstrates how to save, title and share the Microsoft Word answer sheet.
