Emojis are apart of our digital world. These little icons help express our emotions and provide insight into our personalities and emotions.
On November 21, 2008, Apple released the first set of emojis in Japan. While this was not the first emoji set in existance, the iconic Apple Color Emojis are the most recognizable. The original Apple emojis contained 471 original designs, created by Raymond Sepulveda, Angela Guzman and Ollie Wagner.
As of June 2018, there are 2,823 emojis in the Unicode Standard.
