Creating CVI-Friendly Videos using PowerPoint

Quick and easy method to create CVI-friendly videos using PowerPoint and two free web applications.

Who knew that these CVI-friendly videos were so simple to make?!? All you need is a little imagination, PowerPoint and two free web applications. These web applications do all the heavy-lifting!

Alissa DeSousa, a licensed teacher and a mom of a 2 year old with CVI, has created and shared her incredible CVI-friendly book/song videos. Numerous requests came in asking Alissa to share how she makes these wonderful books. Alissa has graciously responded with this terrific video tutorial!

Web applications that Alissa mentioned:

Open the Roman Word Bubbling link then simply type your word(s) into the textbox. You can select a different font, font size, hide text (leave bubble outline), change the outline color, change the background (white or black), change the ouline width or change the gap width. Copy and paste the image to a PowerPoint slide.
