Amazon Children’s Books and Audio Stories are Free

Looking for books in various languages during school closures?

During COVID-19 school closures, Amazon has made their books and audio stories for children and students of all ages FREE – no subscription! Books can be enjoyed on any device (computer, tablet or smart phone) and are available in six languages. Users can search to find a specific book or browse by these categories: 

Browse through the titles, select a book and enjoy – it’s that simple!

When a book is selected a page about the book opens that includes the length of the book, a synopsis, and reviews. All books include the option to speed up the speech rate; options are 1.0x, 1.25x, 1.5x, and 2.0x). Chapter books include the option of jumping to each chapter and each chapter lists the length of listening time.

Accessibility

The website is accessible except for the cover image and the star rating system. Buttons and features are fully accessible.
