At Perkins eLearning, our professional development opportunities come in a range of formats, allowing you to select the option that best suits your needs. From free video presentations to credit-earning online classes, we can help you further your education in a way that’s both convenient and engaging.  

Our professional development offerings are divided into two categories. All “Watch and Learn” options are offered free of charge, while our “Earn Credits” options vary in cost, depending on how many credits are awarded. Participants may choose Professional Development Points (PDPs), Continuing Education Credits, Credits for CTLE (state of New York), OSPI (state of Washington) and ACVREP credits. Selected courses may also qualify for ASHA and AOTA CEUs or graduate credits.

Our online classes are available for continuing education, professional development and certification credits, through a collaborative learning experience with a cohort of professionals with similar needs and interests. Classes are co-synchronous, meaning that they can be done at any time that is convenient for the learner; they do not meet live, but the class all works at the same pace.

Our online classes provide active participation, moderated discussion, graded weekly assignments and quizzes and most importantly, practical application of the material into your daily practice.
