Perkins milestones 2025 to 2030

Together with local collaborators, Perkins is planning to expand current deep impact in a few sites to national-level transformation in 18 countries by 2030. Our goal is to rebuild a world that includes the 240 million children with disabilities, everywhere, from the start.

Perkins knows how to build early child care and education models that all children and families can access. Since 1920, we’ve built local capacity to deliver accessible systems and programs in 96 countries. Now we are shifting from our current deep impact in a few sites to national-level transformation in 18 countries.

The maps below show our plans for growth by 2025 and 2030, that together demonstrate our approach’s relevance in any context. In each country, we go where the children are. We help existing public and community preschools, schools, orphanages, social support services, and hospitals/health centers become local models of global best practices.

Through close local collaboration, we teach/coach how to design and deliver inclusive, child-centered public/community education, health and social services–based on global standards modified to local cultural and legal norms.

Over time, model programs change deep assumptions, creating a ripple effect of inclusion and quality improvement for all children. Together with local collaborators to will create national impact, putting the wellbeing of all children at the center of everything.
