NEC Consultant Spotlight: Helene Gallagher

The New England Consortium on Deafblindness invites you to learn more about our consultant Helene Gallagher!

The New England Consortium on Deafblindness (NEC) has different consultants serving families for each of our five states. Helene Gallagher works with children and families in the Vermont region!

Helene Gallagher, Vermont Education Consultant, has worked in the field of special education for more than 25 years. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education from Russell Sage College, a Master of Science degree in Early Childhood Special Education from Adelphi University, and a graduate certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders from Antioch University New England. Helene has extensive experience working with students with complex communication and learning profiles, ages 3 through 21. She completed the NEC Deafblind Leadership Program and is currently a member of the NEC Professional Learning Community. She is a licensed special educator in VT and NY.
