Women from the Non-Profit World
Every year 8 March, International Women’s Day, we celebrate the achievements of women, even as we are called to step up to create a gender balanced world. In the non-profit world across the globe, thought leaders are consistently working to create an inclusive and equitable world, where boundaries are merged and a new order is formed. Women lead from the front –to design solutions to combat global hunger, malnutrition, illnesses, blindness, poverty, climate change and many other scenarios that need urgent attention.
Perkins India considers women as a key strength for our projects and programmes. In many of our interactions – individual and community-based, women play a key role. As we embrace #BalanceForBetter in our work with communities and collectives, we have much to celebrate and much to work on.
Here’s a shout out to all the incredible women out here, because you are leading from the front!
