Emanuela is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the University. She has also been a teacher for MDVI students for more than 13 years and program supervisor for 10 at Bulgaria's Sofia School for the Blind. She was an international consultant and training provider for Perkins International in Armenia (2007-2009) and Turkey (2013). She is a speech and language therapist and holds a PhD in methods and assessment of communication for nonverbal MDVI students.
