Perkins has been working in Asia and the Pacific since our international programs began in 1989. Our partners in the region are establishing landmark programs and developing innovative services for children and their families.
University training programs, home-based early intervention services, transition to adult life programs, parent advocacy initiatives and brailler distribution are just some of the services our partners provide.
Perkins also created TransitionPlanningAsia.org, a website that connects constituents, encourages interaction, and offers a great deal of resources in the area of transition throughout the Asia/Pacific region, including resources in local languages.
