Ages 14 - 22

The Pre-Employment Program (PEP) will equip blind or visually impaired young adults with the skills necessary for workplace success over a 10-week period.

Critical skills at a critical age

  • Experiential learning – resume writing, interview skills, networking, college work-study jobs and careers
  • Originally designed in collaboration with Dr. Karen Wolffe, a renowned international expert on career counseling for people who are blind or visually impaired, and led by Perkins educators
  • Real-life perspective from vision professionals, peer mentors, and employed young adults with visual impairments.

Each session will run every Monday, from 4-6PM.
