Students of all ages are welcome at our weekly book club sessions where we will be reading the first book in the Percy Jackson series. Participants will read two to three chapters per week, and after reading will attend Outreach Book Club for guided discussions and fun activities related to the story. Students will participate in crafts, test their knowledge of Greek mythology, take part in Apollo's karaoke, all while strengethening their literacy skills. In the final session, the group will watch the audio described version of the film. All book materials will be provided by the Perkins Braille and Talking Book Library (free of charge) in one of the following accessible formats: Braille, large print, electronic braille, Bookshare, and audio files.
Technical Requirements: Access to technology with internet connection and a valid e-mail address to connect with the Zoom platform. Course materials will be sent and received electronically using e-mail and Google Drive.

Each session will run every Tuesday from 4-5PM.
