The Challenge

Put on a blindfold, team up with a sighted guide and run without the benefit of sight.

To apply for a spot on our Blindfold Challenge team, register online and choose "Perkins School for the Blind" as the organization you'll be fundraising for.

You'll run the entire five kilometers through downtown Boston blindfolded, with assistance from a sighted guide. You'll experience the race through sound and feel – the wind on your face, the cheering of the crowd, the impact of your feet on the ground. You'll also raise urgently needed funds for programs that help children and young adults who are blind, deafblind or visually impaired, including many with multiple disabilities.

Please consider joining our 2019 team!

The Blindfold Challenge is a collaborative event held by Perkins School for the Blind in partnership with the Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (MABVI) and National Braille Press.
