Rachael Scdoris sled dog booties

Collection inventory

About this collection:

In March 2006, Rachel Scdoris became the first person who is legally blind to complete the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race that winds across Alaska. Two months later in May, Scdoris was honored at the Perkins Gala and donated these dog booties from either the 2005 or 2006 race. Several booties show wear in the shape of a dog print.
