Biographical/Historical notes:

On November 15, 1956, Helen Keller came to the Perkins School for the Blind campus to attend the dedication of the new building used by the Deafblind Department in honor of herself and her teacher, Anne Sullivan Macy. The ceremony marked the expansion of Perkins School for the Blind’s Deafblind program.
