The mission of the 2nd annual Everybody In! Walk/Move for Perkins is to raise awareness of the critical need for disability inclusion. Together, we can build a more inclusive, accessible world of opportunities for all people, including children with multiple, complex disabilities and visual impairments. While we know people with disabilities are capable of so much, barriers to true inclusion persist in our society.
Join us on Saturday, October 1 at Perkins School for the Blind and help build a world that sees people with disabilities for what they can do, not what they can’t. Together, we can work to eliminate stigma, change attitudes and invite people of all abilities to fully participate in their communities.
Our 3.1-mile route begins at our historic, picturesque Perkins campus and runs alongside the Charles River and through Watertown’s Braille Trail in support of disability inclusion.
Can’t make it to campus? We are excited to truly include everyone with virtual registrations! Sign up for reminders to learn more.
From sponsorships to group registrations, we’d love to discuss opportunities for your organization to get involved.
