Research shows there is no one-size-fits-all approach for cerebral/cortical visual impairment (CVI) and the importance of a holistic, student-centered approach to teaching and learning. As such, The CVI Center at Perkins created The Perkins CVI Interventions Library: a virtual guide for selecting and implementing intervention strategies for students with CVI, intended to be used by anyone supporting students with CVI in the educational or home setting/community (TVIs, educators, RSPs, parents/caregivers, etc). The Library is a collaborative online space, where visitors are encouraged to browse the collection of interventions and submit their own ideas. Each intervention provides background information and requirements to help determine if it could be appropriate for your student, as well as specific examples for implementation and tips for determining success of the intervention or when it might be time to try something different. If available, each intervention post also includes further resources, and links to relevant research.

Learn more about how The CVI Center at Perkins created The Library, how you can utilize it with your students, and how you can submit your own intervention(s) for publication.
