The 2024 CVI CONFERENCE/BILLY FOOTWEAR Promotional Giveaway (the “Promotion”) begins on January 1, 2024 at 8 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends when there are 100 2024 registrants for

1. Eligibility: The Promotion is open to legal U.S. residents residing in the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico who are at least the age of majority in their jurisdictions of residence or eighteen (18) years of age, whichever is older, as of the date of entry. Entries are limited to individuals only; non-natural persons including but not limited to commercial enterprises, trusts and business entities are not eligible.

Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and to Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion. Winning the prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. Sponsor reserves the right to verify the eligibility and compliance with Official Rules of potential winner prior to declaring potential winner an official winner of the Promotion.

2. Sponsor: The CVI Center at Perkins School for the Blind, 175 North Beacon Street, Watertown, MA 02472.

3. How to Enter: There are two (2) ways to enter the Promotion: a) by registering for the 2024 CVI Conference: Building Meaningful Recognition Conference; and b) without registering for the 2024 CVI Conference: Building Meaningful Recognition Conference.

TO ENTER BY REGISTERING FOR 2024 CVI CONFERENCE: BUILDING MEANINGFUL RECOGNITION: Go to Perkins.org/CVIConference (“Promotion Website”) during the Promotion Period and follow the instructions to register for 2024 CVI CONFERENCE: BUILDING MEANINGFUL RECOGNITION. You must complete all required information indicated on the Promotion Website to be eligible.

TO ENTER WITHOUT REGISTERING FOR 2024 CVI CONFERENCE: BUILDING MEANINGFUL RECOGNITION: Participation in the Promotion is voluntary and does not require you to make a donation or payment to Sponsor. If you wish to enter the Promotion without registering for 2024 CVI CONFERENCE: BUILDING MEANINGFUL RECOGNITION, send a 3X5 card with your full name, address, phone number and email address to Perkins School for the Blind, 175 North Beacon Street, Watertown, MA 02472, ATTN: 2024 CVI CONFERENCE: BUILDING MEANINGFUL RECOGNITION.

4. Selection of Winner: All of the first 100 registrants of 2024 for 2024 CVI CONFERENCE: BUILDING MEANINGFUL RECOGNITION will receive a prize of a $10 Billy Footwear gift card.

All potential winners are subject to verification before the prize will be awarded. In the event that (a) potential winner cannot be reached within seventy-two (72) hours of initial contact or notification from Sponsor, or for whatever reason after a reasonable effort has been exerted, potential winner declines or cannot accept, receive or use the prize for any reason or potential winner did not, cannot or does not comply with these Official Rules, then the potential winner shall be disqualified from the giveaway and the next registrant in line will win the prize. Sponsor reserves the right to modify the notification procedures in connection with the selection of an alternate potential winner, if any. A potential winner will be declared a winner when all of the conditions of these Official Rules are fulfilled to the satisfaction of Sponsor, in its sole discretion.

6. Prize Winners’ Taxes: All federal, state and local income taxes are the sole responsibility of the prize winner.

7. General Conditions: Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and to Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, stolen, misdirected, or illegible entries. Proof of sending or submission of entry will not be deemed proof of receipt by Sponsor. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

Publicity: By entering the Promotion, each entrant gives his/her express permission to be contacted by Sponsor by telephone, email and/or postal mail for Promotion purposes. Each winner, by acceptance of a prize, grants to Sponsor the right to publicize his/her name, city and state/territory of residence, photograph, voice, statements and/or other likeness and prize information for advertising, promotional, and/or any other purpose in any media or format now known or hereafter devised, without limitation and without further compensation, consideration, permission or notification, unless prohibited by law.

General Conditions: By accepting the prize, the Official Winner agrees to hold Perkins and its employees, and agents, harmless against any and all claims or liability arising out of the Official Winner’s participation in the Promotion and receipt and ownership or use of the prize. The Official Winner assumes all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in the Promotion or use or redemption of any prize. Sponsor makes no warranty, guarantee or representation of any kind concerning the prize. Sponsor in its sole discretion, reserves the right to select or change the prize(s) to be awarded as part of this Promotion or to end the Promotion prior to the prize winner being drawn. If any discrepancy exists between these Official Terms and Conditions and other statements or materials or advertisements concerning the Promotion, these Official Terms and Conditions shall prevail. These Official Terms and Conditions, including without limitation, deadlines, times, and prize may be amended or revised at any time at the sole discretion of Sponsor.
