Preschool/Infant Aide 

Description: Preschool/Infant Aide

Program: Preschool

Time Commitment: Mondays and Wednesdays 9:30 - noon

Volunteers assist teachers with blind and/or multi-impaired blind children. The Infant Program serves newborns to 3-year-olds, and the Preschool program serves 3- to 6-year-olds. Each child has been evaluated and a definite plan has been developed by teachers and specialists. Volunteers take a hands-on approach in implementing the child's plan through various activities to improve movement, play, and sensory awareness.
