Assistive Device Center Volunteer - Volunteers needed for help with wood working, sewing, and with paint and tape of devices.
Program: Assistive Device Center
Time Commitment: Flexible
Community Companions - Companions needed for to visit a 90 year old blind man, to read mail to a blind woman in Watertown, and to help a blind woman with shopping.
Program: Community Programs
Time Commitment: Flexible
Companion - Volunteers needed to accompany a 30-year-old woman who is deafblind but has some hearing for walks in the community, shopping at the local mall, and general conversation.
Program: Community Living Services
Time Commitment: Two to three hours on Friday, Saturday or Sunday (every other week)
Preschool/Infant Aide - Preschool/Infant Aide
Program: Preschool
Time Commitment: Mondays and Wednesdays 9:30 - noon
Reader - We are looking for someone to read with a student in our secondary program on Friday evenings or Saturdays.
Program: Secondary
Time Commitment: 2 hours a week
Tape Inspector - We are looking for volunteers to help assist with tape inspection in the Braille & Talking Book Library. Flexible time Monday through Friday 7a.m. to 5 p.m.
