Sudoku anyone?

Perkins Products has introduced a new product called Sudoku Touch.

For Sudoku lovers (or those who think they might want to spend endless hours trying to be Sudoku lovers) we now have the answer to your prayers. I should mention at this point, 'I am not a Sudoku fan.' I am not a fan of most games. I can enjoy a card game or a board game that I'm playing with other people, but I find solitary games, like Sudoku, extremely stressful.

I’ve found a way to enjoy this game, however…

I’ll interrupt myself to describe our Sudoku Touch. The game is played on a lovely wooden board with a storage drawer for the tiles. Included are large and small tiles with large print and braille numbers. The larger tiles are for setting up the game or if you’re totally sure that you’ve placed the right number in the right square. Smaller tiles are provided for those times you’re not sure. I never quite move to the larger tiles. The package comes with 40 puzzles, which are also in braille and large print, and a solutions book, including basic instructions also in large print and braille. A plastic grid sits on top of the puzzle, making it easy to place tiles and hold them in place...

Now everyone in your house can place numbers in your puzzle and make you feel very smart, or they can totally mess up your hard work.

You might be wondering what I like so much about a game that I basically don’t like at all. Well, I get to set this up at shows. I am one of those people who is relaxed by having everything in their proper place. I get to take lovely braille tiles and match them to numbers on the puzzle. They fit so nicely in the grid that the entire process is extremely pleasant. When I am done it looks so nice. Then I get to place the remaining tiles in their nice little storage section of the drawer. Life should always fit into nice slots... and fit just right.
