    <title>Preschool/Infant Aide</title>

    <description>Volunteers assist teachers with blind and/or multi-impaired blind children. The Infant Program serves newborns to 3-year-olds, and the Preschool program serves 3- to 6-year-olds. Each child has been evaluated and a definite plan has been developed by teachers and specialists. Volunteers take a hands-on approach in implementing the child&apos;s plan through various activities to improve movement, play, and sensory awareness.</description>

    <title>Reader</title>

They need help with class assignments that require reading and/or writing. A profile of the student is provided to the reader, and the name of the case manager responsible for overseeing his/her student&apos;s program.</description>

    <title>Community Companion</title>

    <description>Volunteers can accompany students on a one to one basis off campus for local events.  They must receive permission from the supervisors of the program. Visits are arranged based on mutually convenient times. Volunteers participate in a wide range of activities, from taking walks, shopping and reading mail to attending sporting events and movies.</description>

    <title>Inspector</title>

    <description>Library inspectors assist with the important task of maintaining and organizing Library materials, including books and magazines in braille, digital format and on audio tape. Library inspectors ensure materials are in good condition for the next reader. Training is provided to the volunteer by Library staff. </description>

    <title>Audio Reviewer</title>

    <description>The audio reviewer acts as a &quot;proof-listener.&quot; Listening to the recorded material produced in the studio while reading along with the printed text, the reviewer listens for errors in the narration and marks the print text for correction. </description>
