Our Taste of Perkins was a success!

Taste of Perkins attendees enjoying blind food tasting

Over 100 supporters of Perkins joined us on Tuesday, October 7th for our first Taste of Perkins event. Our evening featured food, music, prize drawings, a silent auction and food and wine blind tasting stations!

Our silent auction prizes included 50,000 frequent flyer miles, dinner for eight at The Fireplace in Brookline,Celtics Ball Kid Opportunity,and an autographed 2007-2008 Celtics Championship basketball (featured below). Prior to our event, Perkins supporters from coast to coast participated in our first online auction featuring the above items. Our prize drawing included an autographed 2008-2009 Celtics Basketball, One Year of Free Dunkin’ Brands Coffee, North Shore Day-long or Sunset Dinner Cruise for eight on a 40’ power boat and two tickets to a 2008-2009 Celtics Home Game.

Guests mingled with each other, got their picture taken with the Boston Celtics trophy, listened to the sounds of the Perkins Student Trio, enjoyed the Perkins museum, and savored our gourmet selection of hors d'oeuvres.
