Local Man Discovers Benefits of Adaptive Technology
Richard Phipps, a real estate agent in Mattapan, lost his vision years ago to glaucoma. As a result it became more difficult for him to use the computer and to perform his job. Fortunately he was introduced to speech recognition software at Perkins. The software allows him to use his computer simply by speaking, making it possible for him to continue working in the profession he loves.
Read more about Richard's story in the Boston Herald.
