About Perkins Products
Since the School's creation in 1829, Perkins has promoted advances in reading and writing tools for the blind and visually impaired. The establishment of Perkins Products/Howe Press and the invention of the Perkins Brailler has helped improve the lives of thousands of people worldwide.
Today, in its ongoing quest to improve independence at home, at work and at school, Perkins Products has expanded its focus to include a broad spectrum of high- and low-tech devices as well as technology trainings and evaluations. We also partner with associations for the blind and partially sighted, education ministers and resellers around the globe in an effort to provide accessible equipment to all who need it.
